I can't remember what it sounds like but I think I remember not liking the chorus and the bridge.

Some could say the same about Riot Act and S/T.
All of this is true. Wasnt a fan of either album until the next!

There's only one song in their catalog that I hate more than Life Wasted

I used to think that, but after talking to a friend of mind I think you need the second album removed to really appreciate a record. After the first record you are still using it as the basis for your comparison. It's too bound up with the most recent work. So Riot Act really needed Backspacer, Binaural needed S/T, etc. That seems to be how things played out around here, anyway.

Sorry guys, I was all set to pick Life Wasted, turn off my computer and head home from work.
Instead, I had to use the short drive home to listen to a few more songs.

My conclusion (to my own surprise): Someone has to stop Stip from conquering the world!

EVEN FLOW

(Redux version, Single version, RVM version, Live - perhaps Uniondale '03 (?), anything but the original TEN version)

I'm so glad someone took Even Flow. Because I would not be able to tolerate an undrafted Even Flow. But I also didn't want to take it. But I would have. You goddamn betcha, I would have.

So is that your way of saying nice pick? Because I could really use some encouragement right now!

Damnit! I forgot that was still available. I really thought that by taking Even Flow, Stip would finally be forced to select a non-RVM track. Oh well, maybe next time... Eventually he will have to join the rest of us down here in "non-hits land"

I was very aware that it was still in play. I even thought about taking it instead of AtB. Because I knew if I didn't that Stip would. I knew it! But ultimately, I think AtB fits in better with what I'm doing. But Small Town is a top 5 song for me.
