It's so hard to listen to Eddie shred his vocals like that, and it doesn't sound that good. I prefer the studio version, which better captures the unhinged and furious nature of the performance while somehow making the whole thing melodic. That's not happening here (and I don't like the extended pause before the final chorus/outro).


Not the version of Alive I would have picked, but still incredible pretty much top to bottom.. The outro of Alive always makes me wish I was at a show. Without question it is always the highlight.

Alive seems to have been stripped from the concerts on youtube. If someone finds actual video of the performance please post it.

The Alive outro makes this an easy vote over Habit. It's one of those moments in a show that can really develop into something that feels like catharsis. And at that point, I'm not sure what more I could ask of from a concert.

If it wasn't for the "speaking as a child of the 90's" line it would be in my top 20-25. The guitars are great.
