Despite being an atheist, I love Pedro the Lion, early Starflyer 59 and a couple other "indie" Christian bands (who deal with spirituality in modern times), but this praise shit does nothing for me.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:very rarely...it’s not really my thing, but i do like this stuff way more than christian contemporary stuff you hear on the radiorun2death wrote:Do you guys actually listen to this stuff outside of church activities?

Re: Hillsong Worship
I just started listening recently. And it’s basically just this one group that I like, but there are times that I really enjoy it, if I’m not in the right mood.run2death wrote:Despite being an atheist, I love Pedro the Lion, early Starflyer 59 and a couple other "indie" Christian bands (who deal with spirituality in modern times), but this praise shit does nothing for me.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:very rarely...it’s not really my thing, but i do like this stuff way more than christian contemporary stuff you hear on the radiorun2death wrote:Do you guys actually listen to this stuff outside of church activities?

It may be. I’m on the fence with capital punishment. I’m only for it in extreme cases and when there is zero doubt about the guilt of the offender.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:is capital punishment biblically justified?PHATJ wrote:I found the songs shortly after, yes. Never gotten into Hillsong, and maybe this would fit better in the hymn thread, but I've loved this since I first had the CD

Re: Hillsong Worship
Great choice. Before finding Hillsong, Michael W. Smith has always been my favorite Christian artist. I love that song and most of his 80s-90s albums. I grew up with that music.

Oh thank the Lord! I thought that this thread had died.
Is this thread exclusively for Hillsong or any Christian music?

I couldn't find a decent clip of this, and yes - there's a Hillsong version out there, but I don't like it as much as the original
