I’ve watched the Oscars every year for as long as I can remember. I think that’s all over now.

I mean, the Oscars are a joke and haven’t been about artistry for a very long time. But now they’re sending the message that CINEMATOGRAPHY and EDITING aren’t important enough to acknowledge on the air? Fuck off. We’re done. Goodbye.

What a fucking travesty. We are going to see a bunch of rich fuckers talk about freedom and women´s right, give themselves a pat in back and cry because they won and i cant fucking see the award for cinematography?

Give more time to those pc assholes to get their little speech about trump fuckers.
BONE FUCKIN´ TOMAHAWK.

The space laser shootout between astrounauts in "Moonraker" is one of the greatest cheeseball moments in a Bond movie ever and I love it so much.

I understand the importance of Jim Brown to the black community, but he pretty much beat every woman he ever knew.

He's really not a great character witness in documentaries.

This is great news. Now I can not watch all of the categories, instead of just some of them.

Been watching a lot of sexploitation lately and finding myself loving it, so I think I’m gonna go a step further and try some vintage porn genre films. We’ll see how this goes.

I haven't kept up with the awards this year. Is Glenn Close the only heavy favorite to win an Oscar Sunday night?

For whatever reasons my recent horror film forays have led me toward the sexploitation genre that I haven’t spent much time with. I just transferred a bunch of Meyer films to an HD that I can stream from and I see that Women in Cages is available on Amazon Prime… any other director/film suggestions?

Anything by Joe Sarno (especially Sin in the Suburbs)
The Devil’s Honey
Blood for Dracula
Caligula
Anything by Jean Rollin
Lots of sexploitation-tinged Italian horror and giallo, like Night Train Murders and Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key

Generally, I tend to favor dark stuff, not so much the light and playful stuff

Ah Caligula, that may very well have been the second video I 'rented' after Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer when I started working at the video store. Thanks.

I’m not sure I’ll ever fully untangle my feelings about The Birth of a Nation. It’s both disgusting and great and I don’t know how to feel about it.
