Which restaurant have you been to recently?

Went to a place that advertised “Authentic Philly Cheese Steaks” yesterday. I don’t think I’ve ever actually sought out an “authentic” philly, and have no idea if this sandwich fit the bill. Is it all about that amoroso bread?

Anyway, this sandwich was good but nothing special.

I usually let the meat loaf speak for itself, but brown gravy sounds pretty good. I'll do that next time.

I put a tasty tomato sauce over the top at the very end.

My MIL does that but she hates tomato and somehow sabotages it every time so it's not good. Yeah, I don't get it either.

My wife tried that once and used tomato paste from the can and it was the worst.
