yeah, i think my first true embarrassment was that Target commercial
Among the current bad period - S/T, BS, LB - I agree that commercial was the worst, especially because The Fixer sucks. On the flip side, I adore Severed Hand and Pendulum from that same period. So, there's good and bad, but mostly bad.
this feels so dated, it's hilarious
i love the Target hand stamp at the beginning

I really only ever talk about music on RM and with my wife, so I'm never embarrassed.

The guitar part is wickedly smart. The rhythmic dancing that goes on in that song is fantastic and a lot more unique than anything on Lightning Bolt.

I heard The Fixer is about Bob Barker and his campaign to have your pets spayed and neutered

Isn't really a ringing endorsement

I heard The Fixer is about Al Borland and his constant need to repair all of Tim "The Toolman" Taylor's disasters

You guys need to get over the target thing. The fixer is not to blame for the current state of pearl jam.
Its a great song.

I (still) like The Fixer but that Target commercial was definitely one of the band’s biggest blunders.

I follow Matt on instagram, he seems very busy recording music. Most likely for another solo record. '
So Jeff, Matt and Mike are really busy creating and recording stuff. Stone stated in that RS interview that he is ready to record...
Come on Ed...this is getting ridiculous. Stop waiting for a wave to catch. Just create your own wave or ride the wave that your bandmembers are creating..
