Gaming Historian

Post by Jorge »

An actual historian who makes in-depth videos about video game history. I love this guy and how seriously he takes this stuff.

I gotta watch these. I’ve been hooked on those “History of...” videos about specific franchises lately.

Watched a bunch of these last night. Good stuff. Particularly the Super Mario Bros Movie and Nintendo vs. Blockbuster.

The Super Mario Brothers 2 episode is really interesting. I had no idea it was originally a totally separate game.

Do you ever care about the subject matter? I don’t. That’s why he’s so good.

Good point, I guess I mean I have no idea what the Aladdin Deck Enhancer is so my interest isn't immediately piqued. Meanwhile, I've had at least some familiarity with most of the other stuff he covers.
