Mark Hamil is a national fucking treasure. He is so brilliantly talented im almost sad for him that he is "luke skywalker".

You've got the beginnings of a good haiku in there. Just tighten that baby up a bit.

Agreed.

Though if tying it to that were to happen.....at least it'd make sense.

IF Palpatine figured out a way to come back, then I'm ok with Luke also figuring it out and coming back to fight him.

But they have to handle it perfectly. There would be no room for error there. It would be tough but I could probably buy in that way.

It would be tastier if it was Palpatine playing a really long game.
I was betrayed by Vader. I couldn’t turn his son.

I’ll go after his grandson and Fuck him up and all of them up to take revenge.

That could be a way to bring Palps back.

But I don’t see a way or reason to being luke back.

Hell appear as force ghost where he’s infinitely more powerful than he’d be in corporeal form.

Utterly pointless and impossible anyways to rebirth him.

Palps being still alive is dumb as hell. Way too comic booky for me.

I tend to agree. I think there's a way to pull it off that could be interesting but I'm mostly against it.

I made an assumption based on durds post but there’s a lot of chatter out there about Palpatine being reintroduced somehow. It’s kiiiiiiinda set up in the aftermath books and others that he was searching the unknown reaches and jakuu in particular was his furthest out research station that’s why the final battle happened there and all those wrecked Star destroyers etc.

How to translate on screen I don’t know.

But nothing is impossible storywise I guess.

As long as it’s done well I don’t care
