I really hope they were able to write this movie as a fitting ending to the X-Men franchise. This last preview looks like its going to be a very emotional movie (not your standard popcorn comedy action super hero movie that Marvel turns out, not all their movies but most of them)

also saw that The Gifted got cancelled / no season 3. but the shows producer/writer is hoping they can move over to Disney+ as they've had a good following on streaming devices (better than their ratings)

Which leaves Legion season 3 as the last true Fox produced X-Men property. Disney better let them go forward with it. That show needs to wrap itself on its own terms.

I have no hope of New Mutants ever seeing the light of day, which is crazy since they had a trailer out for it well over a year ago already.

She wasn't great on Mad Men either, though. January Jones is not a good actress.

I was interested in the New Mutants horror angle. I don't think they'll get the reshoots they wanted/needed.

yeah, me too. It was really bold and new to have a different genre into the comic book world. I wish Marvel did that too...Captain Marvel 2 should be a drama about all the loss Carol Danvers got after he left earth for the second time.

How can they cancel the Gifted? It was great and had so much potential. Now I'm bummed.

Yeah I just started catching up on the Gifted this week, and was really getting into it so I looked to see about season 3. I think it broke that it was cancelled like 2 hours before I looked into it.
Great Timing
the ratings really plummeted on broadcast TV but it was getting a lot of views streaming so HOPEFULLY Disney just moves it over to Disney+ but at this point I think Disney is just going to let all the Fox-men stuff wrap up so they can start fresh with all the characters. Same thing happened to Wolverine and the Xmen animated series. Season 1 was one of the highest shows on NickToons. Ended with a great tease for season 2. Disney buys out Marvel, and cancels all projects.
