Let’s go back to praising Rotten Apple instead of talking about Metallica.

Oh and that Jerry solo...tasty.

Hell yeah!

And for me, it’s not the notes he plays but his tone. That wah is one of the most perfect sounding wah sounds in the history of music.
Sounds more like a talk box.

I've been watching What's in My Bag -videos all day. Here's nice one with Jerry:

That’s hilarious. Except for the AC/DC record, my dad has all these from back in the day.

I never had the urge either. I think I listened to one Cantrell solo track and wasn't impressed. Leading up to seeing them last Saturday I made a playlist of their most played over 2018 post Layne material. It was:
The One You Know
Never Fade
Check My Brain
Hollow
Stone
Rainier Fog
Red Giant
Your Decision

I liked all but Stone and Hollow which are mid level average grunge tracks.

The show was pretty good. A few points where William seemed to be struggling but that all changed over the last 6 tracks. Man In A Box was massive and everything after William nailed. Overall I was impressed and I'm sure to check out those 3 William albums.

Setlist:
Bleed the Freak
Check My Brain
Again
Rainier Fog
Them Bones
Dam That River
Hollow
Down in a Hole
No Excuses
We Die Young
Angry Chair
Man in the Box
The One You Know
Would?

Been listening a lot to Cantrell solo output. Not only Boggy Depot, but specially Degradation Trip. Fuck, its awesome. Psychotic Break is so fucking good.

Also his new song Setting Sun is pretty awesome.

Did anybody actually listen to William DuVall’s solo album?

Or did it even come out yet?

He's got a song called Til the Light Guides Me Home on Spotify. It's pretty bland. Looks like he's playing some solo shows. The one at City Winery says William Duvall AND Alice in Chains instead of William Duvall OF Alice in Chains. Someone is going to show up and be pretty disappointed.
