Hey LV... why is Mickey the way that he is?

This whole Mickey thing is so weird. I don't even know who the dude is, but he acts as if we have some kind of history or something. As far as I can recall, I've interacted with him once, and, frankly, I had forgotten all about it until he brought up what we talked about with a casualness that suggests he expects it to be as fresh as my mind as it clearly is in his, even though it was a totally insignificant nothing that happened months ago.

He seems like thodoks with the opposite political perspective. Ironically, I think they both lashed out at me for what amounts to the same thing: an objection to what they perceive my political leanings to be. thodoks identified me as a millennial leftist, and Mickey seems to have identified me as the opposite. Neither of them ever really engages with anything, though - it's all vague snark and performative superiority. I don't know what to chalk it up to other some weird ego trip. Whatever. It's just boring trolling.

Also seems weird that he keeps bringing up stuff like this in multiple threads:

For the most part, RM is really just a fun place to hang out with people you've cyber-known for a while and bullshit about what's going on in your life. This whole narrative of trying to make out like it's some pathetic activity for losers who obsess over a '90s band is so tired and has nothing to do with RM's day-to-day. What does seem pretty lame to me is someone who seems to derive self-satisfaction out of showing up on said board briefly so they can behave like an asshole and insult people for no reason. Totally something a cool, well-adjusted person would enjoy.
