Speaking of, started a Mike Patton deep-dive (sans Faith No More) over the weekend. Fantômas, Tomahawk, Mr. Bungle, Kaada/Patton, Hemophiliac, Peeping Tom, Lovage. Debating a thread for it considering how varied and wide-ranging they are.

For some reason I feel like LV would be a Fantômas fan, but maybe that's just because of The Director's Cut album.
Ha, this is funny because The Director's Cut and Suspended Animation have been in heavy rotation lately. Mike Patton (and Fantomas in particular) is one of the most seminal musicians of my late teens and early twenties.

I actually came to this thread to post this:



I had forgotten how much I love this song, especially 2:39 - 3:15.

The Bowie/Stevie Ray rehearsal bootleg has them playing a cover of "I Can't Explain" with a horn section and slowed down a bit. Wild stuff.



There's a soundboard flac out there somewhere, that's what I'm listening to.
