so i didn't get any okra last night...but today i'm going to whole foods to get stuff for dinner and there is a dickeys a couple doors down so i'll get a bag of okra for lunch

so i was just inside my local dickey's for the first time..i've only ever ordered delivery from there..anyway, I ordered a medium okra to go..i sat at a table to wait as he said it would be a few minutes...15 minutes went by and he told me the pilot light was out on the frying machine and there would be no fried okra for quite some time today..

they have a free soft serve ice cream machine in the store though..i'll have some next time

The only Dickey’s I can think of is off the interstate when I drive to Milwaukee to visit family, and I usually have the dog in tow so stopping isn’t an option. I may never know their fried okra.
