That’s something a band that is prolifically writing music together might try. Not one that meets up every few years.
Jeff: "What if Stone and I traded, and Ed, you play drums"
Ed: "Did the Ramones do that?"
Jeff: "Not that I know of."
Ed: "Neither will we."
Stone: "What if...."
Ed: "Did the Ramones do it?"
Stone: ".............."

In the span of just 6 years, this band went from Ten to No Code.
That’s probably the biggest artistic lurch in all musical history. Or one of them.
They’ve more than done their part. Please stop asking for more.
Stop expecting it. You’re setting yourself up for disappointment

nah, i'm just assuming since 40% of them are in the same room together and that seems pretty rare

According to Ed's wife's Instagram account (don't ask) he has been in Seattle for at least a week or two. Surely his kids go to school?

As for Pearl Jam, McCready says he hopes to work on something new with them soon. “We haven’t done anything since we were on the road last year,” he says. “I’m not sure what we’re doing. I’d love to do something, but I don’t have anything right now on the table. We just had a big touring year last year, and two giant shows in Seattle for a homeless benefit. And those were amazing and exhausting and exhilarating. When we all get back together, I’m sure we’ll be creating again. But I don’t have any timeline on that right now.”

"I got to actually go to his house and play at his studio, which was a total honor,” McCready tells Rolling Stone. “I actually sung a song there, which is terrifying to me"

Ed and glen have recorded 15 songs, 10 original and 5 covers.
I can’t wait for you guys to hear them. You’ll hate them but maybe not all of them.
