so i saw sponge again last night. quite the show

they played 10 of 11 from rotting pinata (its the 25th anniversary)

they didnt play candy corn

opened with Wax Estatic
threw in Speed Racer, Treat me Wrong and Jump While the House Is on Fire and 1000 times

always play with energy and no set list. though they do maybe have a cover or two (usually) picked out they let the audience dictate the songs. radio prayer line was called out and he noted they havent played it much and it may take some fine tuning so they played 1000 times instead

highlight/fangirl moment for me was when vinnie commented on my shirt during the show and the bassists actually grabbed his phone and snapped this pic below and then texted it to me

afterwards they have a meet and greet with the fans and i got this pic
