Both very good performances, but there are better live versions of both of these out there. I think I'll vote for Animal, since every live version of Small Town has always reminded me of how perfect the studio version is.

This is very tough. Every version of Small Town falls flat after Dave and this was a pretty definitive live version. But Animal is with Dave, too. Damn. I don’t know what to do.

I like that version of Small town because it's short and sweet but that Animal is short and fierce... Animal I think.

I loved Small Town when I was a kid but it has gotten more and more boring to me over the years. Animal shreds.
