that's probably by design. The Russo's only gave Disney very limited clips to promote with. Better that way, keeps us all guessing at the time shifting, how the time stone and the quantum realm are brought into play, possible 2nd villain, hero deaths. I like the suspense here.

Jfc. There hasn’t been a good Star Wars since empire.

You can say there are at least 6 great marvel movies that depending on the day could all be #1

It helps when you release 2-3 films a year. I disagree with your first point though.

I guess it’s better a trailer underpromises so the film can over deliver.

They have so much to do in this last one. Yet it seems like lots of tense standing around.

Could it be this footage isn’t in the film? Some of it?

i disagree with your second point

the thing though is the 2-3 films all help to build upon a larger story. something this ambitious and on this scale has never been done. people bitch about wanting to see something different and unique in movies and marvel comes along and does that and people now bitch about it.

the solo films help to establish a relationship with characters that you otherwise do not know that intimately and then the team up movies start to pay off the grander stories. the overall stories are well thought out, the casting has been spot on in probably 95% and the movies are generally well received by both the fans and the critics

the fact that a small minority are unhappy or nit-picking douchebags is inconsequential. i really dont see the point of posting in the a thread dedicated to a subject (movies, music or anything else that is subjective) to tell people how shitty it is or that their opinions on said subjects are wrong

You should check out any of the active Star Wars threads. Endless shit posting by people who don’t even like Star Wars and don’t want you to like it either.

I thought Infinity War was great entertainment. Certainly a top five Marvel movie. I just hope that Endgame is equally good.

I think you can still generally enjoy a movie and have critiques. It doesn't make you a douchebag.

Of course there will be haters of them. There are haters of everything. You can't completely ignore constructive criticism however. Nor can Marvel.

After the trailer for Infinity War had some scenes that weren't in the film it's definitely possible. And I don't mean the usual "oh this shot wasn't used" but the entire "everyone's going to charge into battle against Thanos, even the Hulk" scene.

Also there are conspiracy theories that the white uniform scene was edited and Tony/Nebula aren't actually in that scene. Something about their heads don't appear to be the right size for the body? Anyway, I don't get it and I hate watching those kinds of videos so I only see comments here and there.

I do wonder how they're going to do it. The usual comic book event ending is to clear it out but lay some groundwork in the wings for the next big bad, and I hear that they're doing that here as well. Have they been doing things behind the scenes bringing the Fox side of Marvel into Phase 4? I know that they were banned from it until the sale is final (two days left) but also they did Civil War while waiting on Sony to say yes to Spider-Man so it wouldn't surprise me that they show up to Comicon this year and lay out a massive plan.

I'm kind of glad they killed the Inhumans movie. It's so hard to care about those characters and I've tried several time with several books.

Personally, I think getting the Silver Surfer into storylines is essential. He doesn't need a big role, but he should likely have involvement with the Skrulls & Kree (Phase 4) and the Elders (Phase 5). If I had to guess, Phase 6 could be the return of Thanos - another storyline the SS plays a role in. The character only needs a consistent voice actor and CGI. I'm sure he'll be in a FF movie and maybe his own, but he could be the thread to tie a lot of the upcoming storylines together.

I want to see a Nova movie and a series dealing with the Annihilation event.

Hell, just use Doug Jones and Laurence Fishburne again. Oh wait, he's already Giant-Man.

I don’t see how that can happen given Marvel doesn’t even have the rights for two more days.

You know, I totally forgot that he's a FF villain more than anything else so of course he'd be in the Fox deal. Bah.

I'll just wait for Comicon.

Since they’ll have a bit over a month between taking over the Fox stuff and the release of Endgame, I think it would be supremely cool if one of the tag scenes makes a cool reference to the FF.

Yeah. Lose the snikt and the character behind it.
