Not sure where I'm at on Turn Up, Charlie. I like it... but maybe my blind Idris Elba love has me tricked? I don't know.
I saw 5 minutes of TUP. what a piece of shit.

It's definitely weird but I just can't tell if it's good weird or bad weird. I've only watched the first two episodes.

Gervais’s new show After Life. 6 eps. Worth watching, I think. I used to be a massive fan, but there was a steady decline beginning with Life’s Too Short. I couldn’t get past one episode of Derek. Never bothered with the David Brendt On the Road one-off despite loving the Office. After Life isn’t perfect, but I found it funny and sweet and maybe even cried a bit here and there. It’s about a miserable cunt, so, like me, most of you shouldn’t struggle to relate.

Sounds like a real stretch for Gervais.

My wife hates him so when she watched the trailer and said we should watch it I damn near choked on my drink.

I'm not entirely sure how they are marketing that series, to a younger audience or whatever, but I did enjoy the first few episodes that I saw. I am still teetering on whether or not to subscribe to Netflix but this series was one of the reasons I was leaning more toward 'yes' as of late.
