the company men...while different, it made me think of margin call which i liked a lot more

strong cast with mostly solid performances, though some weren't given much to work with

The Sisters Brothers. Really enjoyable, with some great performances. Rated 7.0/10 on imdb, the same as Ravenous. I think they're both closer to 7.5s, to be fair.

Blindspotting.

I appreciate a lot from this movie, still wasnt enough. Looks good, the acting is fine, but is so fucking obvious it hurts.

The Inventor (theranos doc)

While the documentary itself wasn’t nearly as good WYBMN, the story is insane.

Saw Your Name. Very interesting Japanese Anime movie. Stars out as a classic love story between teens with a big twist at first, but then develops into something surreal. Fun first half, beautiful last half.

watched the new mary poppins last night with the wife

it was way better than expected

trippy with good lessons

dancing/singing segments were a little too over the top at times

pretty great acting, especially by Jim Halpert's wife IRL

7.95 out of 9.74

Started Vox Lux. Wow this has some weird pacing and editing and general cinematography going on here. So far not at all what the trailers promised.

The Mule. I enjoyed this, but at the beginning couldn't get over how much Clint Eastwood is starting to look like Sissy Spacek

Watched The New York Ripper last night and felt he did a pretty good job of promoting how legit frightening and seedy 1980s New York City could be.

I barely remember anything about The New York Ripper. Looking forward to rewatching it when Blue Underground releases their new restoration.

My sister showed me that one. It's definitely nutty, and the animation is beautiful
