This is a possible spoilery question:
Spoiler: show
Is Adam Warlock going to be introduced during this movie? I think he's in Soulworld at this point in time, which is the world in the Soul Gem. Just curious.

He's technically been in both Guardians movies - which was stupid the second time - but I think he's going to be saved for Guardians 3. It would be a lot to introduce him this late in the game mid-movie.

The whole plot makes a lot less sense once you remove his love of death.
You could ground thanos' decision making in his psychology and history. When he predicted the downfall of titan and proposed his genocide solution it wasn't acted on and the society was destroyed. So it make sense that part of his madness and mania would have not only been about addressing resources but proving that HE was right all along - which would really give him a singular focus on this particular vision. Too much of his own identity and sense of self was bound up in it. Plus suddenly doubling resources, etc. means that prior to getting the gauntlet he was just a genocidal murderer. There is a lot of evidence that people who believe something extreme, when confronted with evidence that their beliefs are wrong, end up doubling down on those same beliefs - regardless of your level of intelligence.

So logically yes, there are other choices he could have made, but the one he did made was grounded in a comparatively sophisticated understanding of who the character is, why he thinks that way, etc.

They were smart with Thanos in that the one new character of any significance (Peter Dinklage doesn't count - anyone could have played that role) ended up driving the movie so you got time to meet him. I would hope they'd be careful to not introduce someone (especially someone central to the resolution of the conflict) without giving them enough story time to matter. Otherwise you are short changing your central characters.

That's not to say you can't pull it off, and the writing team behind Endgame is masterful at balancing a story with tons and tons of characters, but it's probably better not to. Plus you already have captain marvel as the new weapon on the good guys side.

How was he in GotG? I understood he was planned on being in GotG3, however, getting the Fox characters may have altered that.

His pod thing is in the Collector’s collection. Then it or another one just like it were in that last scene with the golden people in 2.

Watched infinity war again last night.. in the post credits scene, Maria Hill calls NF "nick"

I find it hard to believe that's by accident

That's right, he made a big point of saying he is always called Fury in CM.

I can see if it happened in like iron man 1 it might be an oversight, but it was a crucial scene involving capt marvel in a movie that came out less than a year ago
