No, because it's 100% fake and totally stupid. There's literally nothing to "get out in front of."Monkey_Driven wrote:Are there really that big of spoilers though to to get out in front of this with a title release?dimejinky99 wrote:I believe so yeah. Threepio with the bowcaster was reported good while ago by making Star Wars.Monkey_Driven wrote:Why does 3PO have a bowcaster? I wonder will they get out in front of this and drop the title?

They aren't going to kill off anyone. Maybe Kylo. But no one else.blueviper wrote:At this point does it matter who they kill off?
They killed off Han in Episode VII. Anything's on the table. (Granted that probably had to do with Harrison Ford saying he'd come back for one film if they kill him off, but still)

They killed someone important in 7, someone important in 8, and now they have to kill someone important in 9 as well.durdencommatyler wrote:They aren't going to kill off anyone. Maybe Kylo. But no one else.blueviper wrote:At this point does it matter who they kill off?

I disagree. They don't "have" to do anything. And I don't think they will --- again, except Kylo. Who is arguably pretty important, to your point.Anders wrote:They killed someone important in 7, someone important in 8, and now they have to kill someone important in 9 as well.durdencommatyler wrote:They aren't going to kill off anyone. I can’t see Kylo surviving if the movie goes in any way that is kids friendly.durdencommatyler wrote:I disagree. They don't "have" to do anything. And I don't think they will --- again, except Kylo. Joe. It’s toy packaging / marketing stuff.
All the reliable sources say it’s legit.

Wait... is it "toy packaging" or is it a "poster"? You've said both now.dimejinky99 wrote:Joe. It’s toy packaging / marketing stuff.

It’s the art that’ll appear on all the toy packaging.
The reports said it’s a poster.
It could well be fake but I listen to making Star Wars every week and it matches up with everything they’ve gotten from set. Most notably Kerri Russell’s character.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX (2019)
That just doesn't look at all like a real "poster" to me. I'm wrong a lot though, so what the fuck do I know. Packaging makes "more" sense but even that I'm dubious of. We'll just have to wait and see. I hope I'm right because I think it looks cheap and ask too many on the nose questions. But if I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
Either way, marketing isn't a movie. Even if this turns out to be 100% legit, I'll dislike it, but it won't damage my excitement for the film.
