Thanks. I think it's s great intro mix. If you're more of an album guy, I'd strongly recommend Something More Than free. It seems like we have similar tastes in Isbell music and I think that one is second only to Nashville Sound.

After revisiting that first solo record, I have to say it's a pretty minor effort compared to his later output. There are some strong songs on it, but In a Razor Town is the only one I'd consider trying to work into my mix. I think every other song I've included is much stronger.

I have not listened to Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit yet.

#1 and #2 on that list are fucking brilliant records, front to back. #3 is really good with a couple of less-than tracks. #4 is half and half. #5 is fine but does not hold up to the others.

That's a sweet playlist but I'd probably add Cover Me Up, The Magician, and Dress Blues, and remove How To Forget, Never Could Believe, and Anxiety.

I'm definitely gonna dive into DBT.

I thought about cutting Never Could Believe. That's still the one I'm not sure about on the mix. I could never cut How To Forget or Anxiety though. Those songs mean a lot to me.

Cover Me Up is a good call.
