I've never felt so disconnected from what people are into these days. Why the excitement? I don't get it.

What movies excite you?

I like when a movie doesn't treat its audience like it's stupid, a movie that isn't afraid to take risks or do the unexpected. Generally, if I can tell a lot of love, thought and passion went into a movie, I will like it.

For me, though, that kinda movie can also be good. Take Kill Bill 1, for example. It's not very deep, by any means, but the passion/skill/excitement with which it was crafted is palpable enough to overcome any such flaw.

It's not horrible. It's done in that style, intentionally, and I like it.

Did you see Spider-Man 3? It completely ruined the previous two movies for me. Can't even watch them.
