Why didn't they just rename the disabled list as "the deactivated list"? That way commentators wouldn't have to correct themselves 5000 times a game when they say, "The DL...I mean, you know, the injured list."

if you're an NL team and you're doing this, ya might as well flip the pitcher to the 8 hole.
I definitely feel like the analytical side of the game is starting to push too far.

incredibly, there are still a lot of dumb managers that are slow to catch on to the notion that it's good to give your best hitter more at bats over the course of a year than your lesser hitters.
