Yeah, Alternate Histories was not good. The short story it was based on was only marginally better.

I felt like a lot of the stories here was someone sitting down and watching The Animatrix for the first time and thinking "wow, I can do that!" Several of them are basically baby's first sci-fi told through the lens of a pre-teen adolescent.

Yup, dropped just the other day. Still working through S1: we just finished the episode where she bit the big guy but he got away.

Finished this. It's a Norwegian comedy series made in English. Not sure if foreigners will like it or not, but I had a lot of fun with it.

That is harsh.

The series is also made in Norwegian, and I've seen two of the episodes that way. However, I found the English Netflix version just a tad funnier, so I watched that. But I can see how some of the cultural references and punch lines, might not be as funny to everyone.

Most of the actors speak English fluently, and a couple of them as a native tongue. However, everyone was instructed to talk in a broad Norwegian-English dialect.

I'm half way through The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann. The doc is interesting and I'm going to finish it. But man it's so scattershot. It's super confusing at times with these bizarre time jumps, back and forth, and lots of facts and statements that are dropped in without much context or support.

Fascinating story, so far, though.

I think it would have been better if they edited it down to four episodes.

So far, I'd agree. It's definitely bloated and repetitive through the first 4 episodes.

I think the first four are better than the last four.
