Re: Brexit
Neither long nor short extension. Nothing Brexit can be agreed upon.

Re: Brexit
They have a breathing space. They best start listening to what they’re being told especially by their ‘trade lifelines’ in a hard brexit scenario

Re: Brexit
I know budgets have to get passed by the house but do trade deals?
Could she or they block any trade deal post brexit with Britain and follow through on this ‘threat’?

Re: Brexit
Great episode. The part where the elephant tramples through the RNC and DNC are especially still relevant.Green Habit wrote:

That’s a pretty dumb statement.
Look back at the last 100 years of America ‘staying out of other countries politics’.
When it’s not invading countries it’s deposing democratically elected governemts to install ones that will do their bidding only to have to return 20 years later to depose the one they installed.
It just occurred to me you might be joking. In which case lol
I hope you were actually joking

Yeah, just like America stayed out of GFA politics in 1998.

Re: Brexit
It was a model used a few times since and it worked.
I always hoped why it wasn’t pushed in Israel and Palestine.
I’d love to ask Clinton why it wasn’t.

Re: Brexit
With talks of polling showing his party dominating the upcomg EU elections, I’ve seen a few BBC analysts talk about how the resulting political capital could help Farage navigate power in the subsequent British elections.
If, after everything that’s happened, Nigel Farage ended up as PM...England would have completed its transition to the Alabama of Europe.

Re: Brexit
Yes, that clown is about as close to being PM, as Donald Duck is to becoming president in the USA.
