I'm listening to the Mad Season symphonic show and damn. They should have tried to do the second album with him or something and toured on it.

Going through some unfortunate personal stuff. And I put on some Cornell last night to cope and it was fucking amazing. Really helped me feel better.

I was on Amazon the other day and saw that CD on my wishlist from like a couple years ago. I never got it because I was really hoping it would come out on DVD. It didn’t and now the CD is sold out. :|

Two year ago today. Seems so surreal. I'm going to try to keep the sadness to a minimum and celebrate as much as I can. :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat:

I've said this before but... Though Soundgarden wasn't my favorite of the "grunge" bands, I think Black Hole Sun is probably the best song from that era. A case could be made that it's the Stairway to Heaven of that generation. An immaculate, enigmatic, anthem that inspires and seduces in equal measure. If that had been Chris's only contribution to Rock (capitol R) music, it would have been enough. Yet, it barely scratches the surface of what he offered and gave.

Unreal.

I’m at best a casual fan of this guy.
But if all he ever gave us was Seasons, he’d have done more than millions of others.
Sad to see so many friends hurting today and remembering him.

I listen to sg today, some deep cuts, the rehearsals from SU, and then seasons.

Still surreal.
