I think there is a bit more to it. Nothing sinister, but just something more fleshed out.

There is an internal story. Definitely.

There wasn’t much board discussion on this point either - 4 members wanted to tour this year; 1 member wouldn’t tour without new material. I don’t think Ed was the holdout.

So Ed’s holding up the album and someone else is preventing a tour. Things are definitely rocky.

Why the pressure to tour? The Beatles made albums without touring and Ed likes them at least as much as the Ramones I hope
