We’ll hopefully know in 50 days.

It’s gonna fly by.

Great for you guys either way, it’ll be the third time I said this was happening and doesn’t. (If it doesn’t)

You've been left standing at this altar.

I met the lady from that video.
I asked if it was really her? It was. I told her she needed to eat a few more sandwiches.
My invitation to dinner with her and arcade fire and Rufus and R.E.M. and Susan Sarandon and clooney, evaporated.

Bizarre but a true story.

I interpreted that the “reset” and “a while until the next movie” all but cancelled this. Bummer.

There has been talk of a Kenobi mini-series.

Just doesn't seem like there would be enough for a compelling story, if it's set while he's keeping watch over Luke on Tatooine. There couldn't be constant action with Obi-Wan because that would draw attention from Imperial spies. If he's mostly off world then that's a different story.

I think once he makes his commitment to watch over Luke and protect him from afar, he takes on the hermit life for good, and the next adventure is when he's called back into action via Leia's plea for help.

he wouldnt attract imperial attention as Tatooine was under hutt control and empire basically left them to their own devices and turned a blind eye..so theres plenty of room for story..

but even at that, Vader knows obi wan is alive out there somewhere..also palpatine knows yoda too is alive out there somewhere and was actively hunting him down..so theres plenty of room to bring him into it and have obi wan being hunted..just cos hes minding luke doesnt mean he cant go off world now and then

A lot us were not expecting this to be announced at Celebration this year. I'm not shocked at all. Pretty sure I said I didn't think it would be earlier in this very thread.

In no way does this mean it's a dead project.

I’ve accepted it is never going to happen and am moving on with life.

I would like to formally apologise to all here for bangin on about it so pointlessly and dogmatically for so long.

I hope I can make it up to you all in other ways.

By shutting up and never mentioning it again, to begin with.

You have to call time on it at some point.
I don’t see them ever doing it now that they’re seemingly moving away from that time period.

Dime....

B believed in his Do The Evolution Book. He stayed there, waiting, not listening anyone of us who were joking about it...he just believed.
Now, it seems he might get the book this year....

Believe.
