Think my favorite scene was the reuniting of Jon and Arya as well as Jaime's first look at Bran

Wholeheartedly agree on S7's sloppiness, my least favorite season so far (after a strong season 6). Episode 6 (I think) where they go beyond the wall to capture one of the dead was the worst episode of the series by far IMO.

It did, but it was also just small bits throughout the season surrounded by other really interesting stuff.

it was pretty creepy. i actually jumped more when sam just found out his dad and brother were dead and ran outside only to get almost run over by the horse. it startled the crap out of me.

as a non-book reader (come at me chud), the first scene of the entire series with the white walkers creeped me the heck out if only because i had no idea what to expect and it was so suspenseful.

Totally. I am a book reader and it freaked me out. That scene in the S8 premiere scared the HELL out of my wife. I haven't seen her jump like hat in a long time.
