It’s likely the Roadshow Version that played if you saw the 70mm showings. I did; it several alternate shots and extended scenes (often to stress scenic beauty), and it has an intermission.
Interestingly, QT SWORE it would never be released in any digital form and the only way to see it was via projected film. Not sure why that seems to have changed.
It appears this is actually a brand new version that is much longer than the original roadshow cut - it’s broken up into four one-hour episodes.
