I know enough to avoid this thread until I have watched the latest episode, but isn’t the spoiler rule for TV shows that you use the tag until it has aired in all time zones?
I woke up at 5am to watch it. Think people know not to read the thread until they’ve seen it.
That was a brilliant episode. Kinda hated that they left jons reveal and danys reaction hanging. But it leaves the door open for it becoming a big deal to be sorted later I guess.
Or won’t matter cos one of them might die. More likely her then him I reckon if her dragons have to deal with their zombie dead brother in flight

I thought that as well given how many times they mentioned it, but the dead down there are all entombed.

I was fine with all of the fan service. Dragons and zombies aside, this show has always been about people
Yup. Also, Ghost. He's back!
Another highlight I forgot to mention last night. Definitely in need of more Ghost action.
Repeating the obvious, but the entire episode was excellent but extremely bittersweet. Anxiety will probably be so high after next week's episode that I'll likely get no sleep whatsoever.
Also agree with whoever mentioned the awkwardness of the Arya scene. I was hoping they'd cut away before the clothes started coming off because, yeah, we got the idea. NEVER have I begged for them to forgo a sex scene on this show, but just couldn't watch her getting it on. Still see her as a child, ugh.

I think they did some CGI on her sideboob but yeah, cut away would've been better.
And I missed Ghost, what scene was he in?

Can't think of any/many female characters in the show (maybe a few more in the books) who get to choose the when, where, and who of their first sexual experience and who get to be in control in a way that's not exploitative. You don't have to be a "shipper" to feel the power of the Arya/Gendry moment, and to criticize the awkwardness of two people having sex for the first time (Gendry's "Uh...um....3?" obviously means "zero") is pretty odd.
