Joe. It’s your birthday. You’ve clearly had lots of fizzy pop.
Sit down and think for a moment.
And also remember Obi wan has some sort of link to Rey

I'm not predicting anything. Notice how careful I was in my wording not to make it sound like a prediction.
Just throwing out dumb ideas.

The other two "official early predictions" I've made are more interesting to me and things that I'm invested in.

Or the rise of Palpatine.
Or the turn of Anakin
They each of them sensed it it seems.
Yoda especially.
But none scted on it. On any of it.

Exactly. Their intuition can't be trusted. Rey is a Palpatine created vessel confirmed!

Lucas but moreso Filoni always explains that’s what the prequels were about. The blindness and failure of the Jedi. Something very subtle everyone missed about Luke’s ranting about them in TLJ. It’s like people didn’t see or missed the point and theme of the prequels. It’s not even a subtext, it’s right there.

Star Wars is about people rising to their greatness despite their faults. That is why Luke's arc continued so brilliantly through TLJdimejinky99 wrote:Lucas but moreso Filoni always explains that’s what the prequels were about. The blindness and failure of the Jedi. They seemed to be doing ok for the 1000 generations of being the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy
but a few bad years with the Sith threat and "they're a bunch of idiots."
ok.
I chalk it up to Lucas' subpar writing for the PT.

Yes, it really is stupid. 1000 generations, and one brutal attack and reign by their evil enemies, and now they must die for good.

Well that’s just it. Complacent and unchallenged for 1000 years.
Then blind and unable to handle the danger once it reappears.
And it’s not like It was overnight. Palpatine was crafting his myriad plans for years and years.
And they didn’t notice and were caught totally off guard.
They became arrogant and myopic and lost touch with the force.

There hadn’t been any Sith in 1000 years as far as I recall.
Obi wan killing maul is the first time a Jedi killed a sith in 1000 years.
