Today's 10 miler was my best feeling non-race run ever. Felt like I could have easily cruised another 10 miles without slowing down. Was it the Hoka Claytons I forgot I had and decided to try out for the first time, or the extra rest day this week? Hard telling.

sorry I didn't have time to win it. I was biking 70km yesterday. Honestly all I need to do is run a 10er tonight and I get 2nd place but I don't know if I have it in me. Soon. I will be able to win the runner leaderboard and bike 150km a week. But hey, you put up some solids kms this week. good job.

I am happy for you but you fuckers who feel good from a run. I am still at the slog through it phase and it never feels good. Today is going to be slog through and ooze toxic sweat.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

Me and Surf are team Canada. We might not be the flashiest athletes on the Strava but we always put up points.

I feel that, buddy. Truth be told, this week has been terrible for me. Which is part of what made today's run so great. It was the first one in 7 days that didn't hurt and/or feel like death.

You should do some speedwork, Joey.

You clearly have another gear you can pull out occasionally. You should tap into that and do some regular speedwork.

Thanks, bud.

I'm almost angry at myself for not going longer. I felt like I had at least two more sub-8 min miles in me. And I wonder if I couldn't have done a full half marathon. And PR'd it even!
