I'd agree with this statement if we were talking about her getting vengeance for the Red Wedding. Because that was a show decision that actually made sense.durdencommatyler wrote:100% disagree.cutuphalfdead wrote:Arya killing the night king made no fucking sense. They laid no groundwork for it. Her entire arc lead to that moment and it was goddamn poetry in motion.

He’s done some bad stuff, but so has many others, like Dany and Jaime. He’s done a lot of good lately. You can’t really be redeemed without doing bad things. I’ll agree that someone like Kylo or Cersei is nearly impossible.durdencommatyler wrote:I'm sure others will agree. But the was so far beyond redemption for me. SO GOOD!
Arya's entire arc paid off. Every Arya scene mattered and reflected the journey.
I'll just say that Arya Stark is now my all time favorite character in literature.
But did you spot the walking dead Maester Llewynn in the library?
Yep. My other half spotted him and then I did later.
It’s blink and you miss it but he’s in there.

The only character you mentioned that is comparable, in my opinion, here is Jaime. I love the way they handled his character. I see a redemption for him.Anders wrote:He’s done some bad stuff, but so has many others, like Dany and Jaime. He’s done a lot of good lately. You can’t really be redeemed without doing bad things. Because Dondarrion sacrificed himself to save Arya so she could kill the NK? Bran even said: «Thank you Theon. You are a good man.» Then he dies while trying to protect Bran. “Melisandre had practiced her art for years beyond count, and she had paid the price. There was no one, even in her order, who had her skill at seeing the secrets half-revealed and half-concealed within the sacred flames. Yet now she could not even seem to find her king. “I pray for a glimpse of Azor Ahai, and R' hllor shows me only snow.” “Bi_3 wrote:Because Dondarrion sacrificed himself to save Arya so she could kill the NK?
