What if one of those giant crossbows takes out jon or Dany on their respective dragon? And one of them dies?

That would raise the stakes considerably

I don't see how a giant arrow made of metal could possibly travel fast enough to hit a dragon before it got out of the way.

Which of the last 3 episodes will the Clegane Bowl take place?

I'll guess the 2nd.

right, a spear thrown by some magical undead dude, probably slung at an alarming rate. This is going to be a gigantic heavy steel arrow, probaby 5 times the size of a person, shot and aimed by some random King's Landing dude

Did you miss the episode Qyburn showing Cersei the crossbows they were preparing in case Dany arrived?

Also drogon was (stupidly) getting hurt in this episode by the wights attacking him and (stupidly) somehow breaking his scales with regular knives

Get ready for it.

Arya says ‘well rip them out root and stem’ about the Frey’s way back before she killed them all.

Dany says it of Cersei.

Intriguing.

Yes. And I think... yes? I'm remembering something about building more of them but I'm not 100% on that.

Spoiler: show
The materials used to build that thing are in finite supply so, no, they cannot build several more.

Are we forgetting that Bronn hit Drogon at the battle of the blackwater rush?

Plus, if they take out another dragon by way of flying projectile, that is lame and the dragons are lame.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned, but has anyone entertained the possibility that the Night King "marking" Bran created some sort of Harry Potter/Voldemort connection, where part of the Night King still lives in Bran? Maybe Bran is evil and is the next incarnation of the Night King.

I've been seeing more than a few people speculating that we haven't seen the last of the Night King in some form.
