Based on symmetry, repetition and connection of forms, I wouldn't be suprised if the artwork is going to be layered with die cuts or something.

What does that mean?

Basically it's a process where uncommon shapes are cut into the material. Usually in album cover, the different shapes are cut and the negative space is used to create layers and multiple images. It's more rare to see in such a large production (as PJ would be) bc it's much more expensive to do.
