It sure seems like Sam is hanging in Winterfell, and since Sansa is there too, it's not like he'll be too far from some action.

It's kind of bonkers that there are only 2 episodes left.

Another fantastic episode. These dudes are really bringing it in this final season. Can they stick the landing?

I'm excited to find out.

This was bound to be the case with a travel-heavy episode. But I don't think it undercut the best scenes of the night.

there were just too many disparate, yet intentionally full-circle scenes. it was like putting together a beer, softball team.

This felt like a season 7 episode.

I like how the whole end game is setting up, but have so many issues with pretty much everything else.

totally consistent with cersei's character not to mow down dany and varys and tyrion with half a dozen ballistas and hundreds of archers positioned a few yards away

Why did they assume Dragonstone would be abandoned upon arrival?

Sansa : what if there was someone better?

Tyrion: You don't want it?
Bran: I don't want anything.

Varys: Maybe the best person is someone who doesn't want it....

Brans gonna be king

Why do I feel like the dragon is not dead and why can’t D.B. Weiss pronounce anyone’s name correctly? “Sir-say” vs “Sir-see”
