Beat that boss. Many think it to be the most difficult one.

Only three optional bosses left before the final one. Home stretch (of the first playthrough)!

Hope to get it done before Cuphead this Friday.

I'm on the final boss. I'm way too impatient. This boss has four phases!

Beat him on my second try tonight after work. Just need to wrap up a few collectibles and then on to NG+.

So, was this (slightly) easier than Bloodborne and Souls?

I would say it is slightly easier than Bloodborne. But, I'm saying that being familiar/experienced with the formula.

Haven't done that ending. I think I saw somewhere you can spam the shadowrush ability.

Shadowrush worked for me. I must've spent 10 hours trying to beat this guy, then an extra 5 or so focusing on earning shadowrush skill.

Started new game+ yesterday :)

I'm sure you'll have an easier time because of your higher skill level. Also, a lot of this time was spent casually, drunk, sound off, listening to music while hanging out and talking with The Raz.

Took me about 2 hours or so to beat him. Had to figure out the attack patterns and be conservative with my spirit tokens.

I also was too greedy.

I've been playing Punch-Out a bit lately, and it's reminding me quite a bit of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The similarities are pretty strong. Is Punch-Out the first game of this kind? The kind of game where you study your enemies' moves and die a lot and plan a good strategy to defeat them?

I guess so... but these bosses are very similar in their patterns and high cost of failure. Don't make me defend myself. I'm probably wrong, again.

Man, farming skill points is a grind. Just need 9 more to buy all the skills.
