Why would an anti-abortion person think there should be a rape/poverty exception to abortion if they think abortion is murdering babies? I don't think the platform of "killing people because there are too many poor people" is going to fly very far if you are actually trying to convince anyone of your position, regardless of the economic benefits killing people would provide.

They probably should let him transfer.

My thought as well. I mean I get the whole "fruit of the poisoned tree" thing but if they kid didn't know - combined with how well he's been doing - I don't think the school should move forward.

Also it's written strangely but what I got was that they were just investigating a course of action until he sued them, that's when they said "nope, FU buddy!"
