What’s the singular form? Still Red Sox?

There is no singular. You can be a "Red Sox player" or a "Red Sox pitcher" etc., but you don't say "Red Sock" as a singular noun. Same way you would discuss players on the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, and so on.
