You sure?
1999
2002
2005
That was a long time between awful.
It was awful. Let’s not lie.
Ruddo can we merge this and the Rian thread? Until further informed?
Was it though? You put movies 3 years apart and it's event viewing once again. YOu put them two years apart (and have non-episode movies inbetween) and it's just ho-hum here's another star wars movie.

This quote is from the article below
‘"What are the odds they're going to burn that beloved property [Star Wars] to the ground too?"’
This is just like when LOST was wrapping up.
Some series nails the ending (Breaking Bad) and others fail miserably (Dexter). Lost seems to be more up for discussion, as probably Game of Thrones is as well. Personally I thought Lost could have done a lot better, but I'm really pleased with the GOT one. Hope for a strong last episode as well. Could make or break it, when it comes to the ending.
Maybe it will be a Star Wars Game Of Thrones adaptation.
«Eddard "Ned" Stark, is asked to become the Emperor's Hand (chief advisor) to his emperor and longtime friend, Robert Baratheon. Ned must find out who killed his predecessor, the Jedi Jon Arryn, while trying to protect his family from their rivals, the Lannisters. Even the trip from Ilum to Coruscant has dangers afoot.»
With all the other stuff going on this weekend, it appears this little nugget got sort of lost in the shuffle:
According to THR's report, Benioff and Weiss are now "writing a treatment" for a trilogy of Star Wars films, with a commitment to script "at least one of the films" themselves. That's interesting, because the original plan was that Benioff and Weiss would take screenplay duties on all three of their Star Wars films, and THR also notes that it's currently "unclear" whether they'll take on anything but writing duties.
Interesting. Looks like their new Netflix mega-deal will hamper their Star Wars output to some degree, how much of a degree is yet to be seen.
