What's the timeline on Minter being your closer?Electromatic wrote:The bullpen. No Vizcaino the rest of the year, and O Day may never be healthy enough to even see if he can pitch again....

So who thought they would take the Cleveland series like they?

AA has do something about the bullpen. They're going to piss away the season otherwise.

So, I should amend this statement. The Braves WANT AJ Minter to be the closer, but they really don't have a closer right now. Luke Jackson came in yesterday after 1/3 of an inning for Minter and Minter got the Hold, Jackson got the save.

Yeah, I already hit it and quit it. My relief situation now is Holland and Pressly. Though Minter gave me what I needed when I needed it, luckily.

Surprisingly, the Austin Riley era begins today. <Derek Jeter holds breath for passing on Riley for Realmuto and Riley for Yelich.>

So, Riley to Left and Acuna to center?
Found a lucky 10 day back injury for Ender eh?
Probably need one of those for Folty about now too.

Last night should be the first of many big shots from Riley.

I've been a Braves fan for about 30 years, I don't recall any 500 foot home runs. He could do it.

So did Galaraga. But I don't think their longest were in a Braves uniform.Electromatic wrote:Gary Sheffield hit some long ones.CopperTom wrote:I've been a Braves fan for about 30 years, I don't recall any 500 foot home runs. He could do it.
On a side note, I wish exit velocity was a thing back when Sheffield played.
