Saw Booksmart last night. It’s very funny. And very odd.

Basically an upgrade remake of 80s teen movies but with a modern twist.
I liked it. One of the leads basically playing a female version of that tubby actor who’s in comedies. This guy. Can’t remember his name

Ah. The girl in question is his sister.

That makes sense. I was stumped coz she even looks like him.

Good lord, The Right Stuff has some of the worst editing I’ve ever seen - both the screenplay and the movie itself. Why is everything taking so goddamn long?

Just came back from JW3.
Spoiler: show
They ignored so much of the previous two movies, like bullet counting. Halle Berry basically had a movie pistol for her fight, running around shooting and shooting and shooting. I saw her reload...twice? Three times maybe? I was amazed at how many stunts looked like stunts instead of something in the real world. And the reliance on CGI knives? Even the cracking glass was CG. What about the exploding glass skull displays? That was just laughably bad. Then there was the bullet waste. Just shoot him in the head once, he's dead. Nope. One, two, three in the head and once in the throat and then another in the chest. Still moving? Shoot him in the head again. And when they give him armor-piercing rounds he still shoots people two or three times in the head and chest. I'm pretty sure that you reduce someone's head to jelly on round 1, round 2 is just to make sure he's atomized or something.
The Raid guys were short. Keanu was on his knees fighting them and he was still taller! Looked like he was fighting little kids.

The movie was gorgeous to look at. The composition of the scenes and colors...it was a gorgeous movie. Though there were times - like the gigantic fucking advertisement for those expensive-ass watches during the final fight - that made me roll my eyes.

And if they had ended the movie
Spoiler: show
before that last scene it would have been the best ending to the series, easy. I was so excited for that that the real ending bummed me out. Oh well, can't have everything.

Rosemary´s Baby.

Still after all these years, its such a powerful movie. Mia Farrow´s performance is one for the ages. The ending is so chilling and weird.
God, what an amazing piece of art.

"what a doll" didn't mean "beautiful" to me. I didn't know what "what a doll" meant.

Yeah, it means beautiful, hot, gorgeous.

I think its been used since 1950.

Well.. it means a lot of things -- never mind.

I know this is counterintuitive, but most porno movies have way too much sex in them.

The Wandering Earth

Feel like I’ve seen this before... but anyway the effects were great but the acting was blah
