It will be a massive miss if they don't get Sapochnik to direct at least one of their SW films. I agree.

Only complaint I have about this one was every setup in it needed, well, more set up.
Jon killing Dany in particular.
Wish it had been a full season but overall I can’t complain about what we saw.

Don’t care or need to be spoon fed about irrelevant details like what happens the Dothraki or Any of that.

well, there really shouldn't have been more than 5 horselords left anyway after their dumb charge of the light brigade at the battle of winterfell

The unsullied seemed to multiply after each battle, too

I guess you’re not meant to really notice direction but it was so good last week it almost made you aware of it.

I think I was mostly disppointed that Varys' "reveal" notes never became part of the finale's drama.

Yeah, I kept wondering if any of those made it out. Also was curious why Jon's lineage wasn't brought up with the electoral college.

Because, like a great many, many, many threads of this epic story... those things ultimately didn't matter. And that's part of what I'm thinking about/struggling with regarding this show and how it ended.

Same. Feels like a lot of the build up with the NK, with R+L=J, etc... didn't matter.

It does feel that way. Honestly, I'm having a hard time working through what the point was in bringing Jon back from the dead in the first place.

i just don't understand why you'd put so many countless resources and time into something where you meticulously pour your heart and soul into it, only to have your give-a-shitter break at the end which colors everything you accomplished up until that point.

It really is odd how little all the various clues and threads meant in the end. Yet, the Dany vision of the Iron Throne was spot on.

Just saw a still of Brienne writing in the book... I didn't notice in real time that the sigal on her armor is a raven. Which is interesting.

Yeah, I don't watch/listen to any Collider shows except Jedi Council anymore. But I'm bored at work and decided to put on their coverage from last night and it's kind of hilarious. Frustrating, but also hilarious. He's losing his whole mind and freaking out!
