Jon killing Dany in particular.
Wish it had been a full season but overall I can’t complain about what we saw.

Don’t care or need to be spoon fed about irrelevant details like what happens the Dothraki or Any of that.
well, there really shouldn't have been more than 5 horselords left anyway after their dumb charge of the light brigade at the battle of winterfell
The unsullied seemed to multiply after each battle, too
I’m surprised at how many they were at the start of the episode. It looked great though.
It certainly did look like Lord of the Rings, that's for sure.
Yes, you are right. My first thought was Star Wars.

I think we can officially put the "Nuremberg Rally shot" to bed for another 10-15 years.
Dany was a Nazi though. Just check her hair

Just rewatching now and figured out Tyrion went to the crypt hoping Jaimie and Cersei would have escaped. That’s how he knew where to go.
He obviously hoped they wouldn’t be there

Yes. I thought that was obvious. he sent jamie there to get Cersei and escape. he told them exactly where to go. Im sure he suspected they were dead but went there to confirm. It was a touching moment and Dinklage is fucking amazing at his craft. He portrayed sadness, guilt, regret, and love all without saying a word.

This sums up some of my thoughts when I said earlier that Jon got a raw deal:

https://www.buzzfeed.com/ehisosifo1/can ... nes-series
Jon Snow got the shortest end of the stick imaginable.

That is correct. Jon Snow, the ACTUAL TRUE HEIR TO THE IRON THRONE, was basically exiled after he killed Dany.

Now, I know what you're thinking. He's a murderer, he deserves to be punished. HOWEVER, he did what everyone else was afraid to do and was the only one punished for it.

It wasn't a secret that no one wanted Dany on the throne, especially after she BBQ'd all of King's Landing. Tyrion basically TOLD Jon to do it, yet Tyrion became the new Hand of the King and Jon Snow got sent up North.

This is a council of nobles, right? Why are they trying to appease Grey Worm, a soldier who, quite literally, has dirt shit — no title, no land, no queen, no nothing.
Why couldn't Bran the Useless just warg into Grey Worm and make him retrieve Jon? Or make him an enemy of the state unless he freed Jon? Or ANYTHING ELSE SINCE Y'ALL ARE THE ONES IN POWER AND Y'ALL BENT TO THE WILL OF A MAN WHO HAS NOTHING ON ANY OF YOU PEOPLE.

But alas, Jon was sent off to live out the rest of his days with the Night's Watch, where this whole mess started

Would've been nice tho. Nicer if Jon had done it.

I do wish Arya had some major final kill to seal off her arc and her learned skills over her journey. Her character was somewhat limp though seeing Joey's reaction to her storyline in the end has me wondering how much I missed.

The episode really needed some action. Can’t believe the Unsullied and the Dothraki escaped all their crimes.

I feel like killing the Night King qualifies as this. Her convo with The Hound has shifted her focus to looking forward and discovery as opposed to living in the past and stewing.

Of course Jon got a raw deal. Is that even being debated? But he, for better or worse, stayed true to his character. He did what he thought was the honorable or "right" thing regardless of the cost to himself.

Thats fair but back to why is she the one to kill the night king. was never on her path.

Strange choices.
