Yes, Tudyk has joked about it a few times. Daniels asked him if he had to wear a robot suit, Tudyk said no, and Daniels said fuck you. Which Tudyk thought was hilarious.

From a remove you’d think he’s loved. Within fandom he’s around the same level as jar jar and especially lately, he’s probably even more hated as jar jar has had a Renaissance cos of the anniversary n all.
He’s an annoying twittering thwart to the story. He doesn’t even add much if anything. Horses for courses though I guess.
