So I think Durant is fine and is planning his own little Willis Reid narrative.

He's spent millions of dollars on Steph Curry voodoo dolls.

He's either planning to come back to rescue the warriors and thus prove he's important to them or he's hiding a more serious injury. I don't see any in between where you don't just play.

There's a difference between walking without a limp and playing NBA Finals level basketball.

Saw the guy who broke the Lakers story was on Lowe Post so I gave it a shot. What a waste of time. Lowe has been at ESPN so long it's ruined him. It was just 45 mins of two writers scared to say anything mean and apologizing for writing their story. I can't remember the last time Lowe broke anything interesting. Fuck that nerd.

He knows a lot more than what he let's on and instead of making himself vulnerable talks about jerseys and elevator door plays. He's a coward.

They're trying to protect their access. That's it. The absolute best part of the Anthony Davis debacle mid season was that the facts circumvented all the reporting. It became painfully, visually obvious that the Lakers are a disaster, Lebron is doing Lebron things only he's 34 now, Rich Paul was trying to run things, Magic was the happy public face trying to smooth over their image to the media.... that teams going nowhere soon.

Then all the sniping at Magic after he left. Who thought he was really doing day to day GM stuff? A lot of people are trying to save face, when it's clear Magic jumped off a sinking ship.

People are afraid to say a team with Lebron James on it is not competitive. They aren't. They got lucky and maybe this lottery pick helps but that team is less of a contender than the Clippers and people are afraid to say it. Then "any" team dynamic got destroyed by Rich Paul and they tried to blame that on Demps.

Lebron being there has been detrimental to both parties. He should have stayed in the east.

I don't expect that 4th pick to make much of a difference unless it's used to trade for someone good. I'm just glad they didn't win the lottery. I was freaking out when those envelopes were being opened.

Warriors in 7

Tempted to go with Warriors in 6, but I have a feeling Cousins and/or Durant will come back and mess up the chemistry/offensive flow too much. Kawhi is also bound to have 2-3 incredible games. There's also the Lowry and Gasol factor.
