ive hoped for the apocalypse concept album since a few were talking about it a couple of weeks ago
I remember the album rumor "Revelations" a bunch back in the day and i was always a little sad when i learned it was not correct. I'm getting pretty darn excited.

To me the gun is pointing at me. We look out at the world and see beauty, but we don't see that the world is going to kill us, because of our irresponsibility of not keeping the planet clean.
I don't see a gun. It kinda looks like a revolver in a way, but i think it is something else protons, neutrons , worm holes string theorie. I don't know something else though. Something deeper than a gun and a moon.
Although the type of clip used in a revolver is called a moon clip

I'm not even joking. That'd be fucking great.
Close Encounters but he takes the family with him. Essentially how Spielberg would end it if he made it today.
Remember when the artwork for Backspacer was released on image at a time prior to the launch of the album? There was a flurry of excitement over finding classic images that matched the artwork in some way.
Maybe this is in a similar vein?

Same. These imply a much darker mood for the album.

I like how the artwork so far can be a bunch of things at once. When I first looked at this one, I saw the moon, and then a gun pointing at my face, and then wait, no, looking from behind the chamber?
I wonder if they are releasing the names of the tracks from last to first, end to beginning. It would make sense that FD would be song 12 to close the record.

I'm pretty sure it's from behind the chamber, due to the pattern on the remaining bullet:

I rarely ever log on here, but I had to log in just to tell you I laughed hard when I read this. Brilliant.
I am assuming that the fish in Swallowed Whole is Leviathan. Good cross reference with Hobbes.
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.
