I don't like either club but I've always enjoyed Jurgen Klopp so I guess I'll roll with Liverpool.

It looks like it. It's a tough call. Son and Lucas have been playing well and there's no telling how fit kane really is, but he's also such a great leader and can be a real game changer.
Personally, I'd have him on the bench, but ultimately I trust pochettino.

Ugh, penalty in the first 4 minutes. Hope Spurs pull one back soon & make it a game.

Stu Holden needs to STFU about the penalty call. It was a fair call.

Ajax would have been better too. This game has been awful.

Within this tournament that was a penalty.
As someone who has been watching football for nearly 4 decades that was never a penalty.

Re: The Beautiful Game (The All Inclusive Soccer Thread)
They have an ego way out of proportion to their actual skill level. The way they celebrated against a bunch of amateurs with day jobs (Thailand) was pretty off putting. They still kick and run a lot, and the rest of the world (especially the Euro ladies) seem to be catching up with a smarter playing style, so we'll see how things look in the future.
And I actually agree with their politics, but Rapinoe for example kneeling during the anthem before an NWSL match in front of 100 fans to protest really highlights how out of touch with reality some of them are.

Re: The Beautiful Game (The All Inclusive Soccer Thread)
My problem is with the coaching staff. For them to celebrate the 11th or 13th goal against Thailand was in extremely bad taste. Phil Neville's comments about his team reflecting his values after the Cameroon game really made me reconsider that Thailand/USA game. Jill Ellis didn't look graceful in that match.
I have no problem with their politics and how they conduct themselves there.
